Botanical Gardens Bus Trip

You are invited to join the Master Gardener Volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension to a bus trip to the Botanical Gardens and Insectarium in Montreal. Wednesday, June 21 - we will take a motor coach from Plattsburgh to the Botanical Gardens in Montreal.  Leave Plattsburgh at 8:00 am arriving the Gardens at approximately 9:30 am.  We will depart the Gardens at 5:00 pm for a 7:00 pm arrive in Plattsburgh. 

Internationally renowed land artist Patrick Dougherty has been invited to create monumental and inspiring land art pieces in the Botanical Garden Arboretum.  His sculptures woven from willow branches will be true odes to nature treating visitors to a poetic adventrue and paying tribute to these trees in artistic and creative fashion. 

What if insects were on tomorrows menu?

The Space for LIfe chefs are giving free rein to their imaginations in creating new receipes based on insects and local ingredients and concocting treats with surprising flavors. Are you curious enough to take a bite?

Your Pre-paid registration fee of $60 covers Round-trip transportation, admission to the Botanical Gardens, the greenhouses and pavilions, and the Insectarium.

Valid passport or enhanced driver's license to board the bus and cross the boarder.  This will take place rain or shine.  Registration fee is non-refundable unless we are forced to cancel this event.
