Workshops Exploring Anaerobic Digester Technology on Small Farms

Participants will learn about the costs and benefits of anaerobic digestion, tour a working digester, associated with the Extension Farm's commercial processing kitchen, small scale greenhouse, and closed loop Ag System. Explore whether anaerobic digestion may be an option for your farm. Participants within the North Country Region will be given a $25 stipend to help cover travel costs, those from outside the region will be given $50. 

Workshop Dates: 

December 5, 2018 - 10 am-2 pm

February 7, 2019 - 10 am- 2 pm

March 6, 2019 - 6 pm- 9 pm

***All workshops will take place at the Cornell Cooperative Extension Learning Farm, located at 2043 State Highway 68, Canton. Registration is required and can be made by emailing or by calling 315-379-9192 ext. 237. A travel stipend and dinner will be provided!
