Winter Care of Houseplants & Growing Herbs Indoors

  • Saturday, January 19, 2019, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Winter can be hard on our houseplants. If you are fighting with your peace lily, your Pothos is starting to look pathetic, or your greenery is turning yellow, this workshop is for you.

We will cover proper winter care including:

  • Watering and light needs
  • Insect infestations to watch for
  • What to do if you find pests
  • Disease identification and treatment options
  • Why plants may not bloom
  • We will also discuss growing herbs on a sunny windowsill.

NOTE—If you have a pest problem, bring a sample in a zip lock bag or a clear photograph for identification.
