The Clinton County Youth Bureau is looking for umpires for the 2019 county youth baseball/softball program!
You need to be 14 years of age or older and must bring one of the following:
You must also bring working papers if you are under 18 years of age.
The training is in two parts. You must only attend one of each part. The dates for part one are as follows:
Part 1: Paperwork & Classroom Instruction
Tuesday May 14th 6-9 pm Peru Middle School- Cafeteria
Thursday May 16th 6-9 pm NAC High School- Cafeteria
Tuesday May 21st 6-9 pm May Currier Park- Tom Miller Rd. Plattsburgh
Wednesday May 22nd 6-9 pm May Currier Park- Tom Miller Rd. Plattsburgh
Wednesday May 29th 6-9 pm May Currier Park- Tom Miller Rd. Plattsburgh
Thursday May 30th 6-9 pm Dannemora Civic Center- Cafeteria
***Note: If you have served as County Baseball/ Softball Umpire for 4 years or more, you do not have to stay for the classroom portion of this part 1 clinic.
Part 2: Supervised On-Field Game Experience
Umpires with 3 or less years of experience will be required to work at least one game during Clinton County Opening Weekend. Rookies will be paid $10 for the training day. Umpires with 4 or more years of experience may serve as supervisors- contact the Recreation Director if interested.

Lapham's Mills Park, Peru: May 31-June 1, 2019 (Must attend either or)
2019 Umpire Pay rates are as follows:
Pony League: Plate- $25, Bases-$17
Pee Wee League: Plate- $20, Bases- $15
Grasshopper League: Plate $18, Bases-xxx
