Heat Preparedness

We continue to be looking at a period of excessive heat that we haven't seen around central NY or northeast Pa since 2011. NWS’s graphical Enhanced Hazardous Weather Outlook captures this well. Saturday and Monday will be bad, but Sunday is still looking to have the highest heat and humidity combination.

NWS will start more formal briefings once they begin issuing heat advisories and/or excessive heat watches in the next day or two.
