This class will guide you through the essential steps to ensure your plants thrive from the very beginning. Learn about what soil to use, containers, lighting, fertilization and watering techniques, and go home with some planted seeds to try it yourself!

Grapevines are poor communicators when they’re in trouble. Their symptoms might come from a mix of different issues, and some of them can be so subtle that you hardly notice. This class is here to help you recognize the common pests and diseases that can affect grapevines, even when they’re not making it obvious that something is wrong.
Introduce children to the joys of gardening through fun, hands-on activities that teach them about plants, nature, and responsibility. This class will provide creative ideas for engaging kids in the garden while fostering a love for growing.
The event starts at 9:30am with a welcome and introduction (and, of course, refreshments!). There is a 1-hour break for lunch at 12pm, where you can bring your lunch and eat in the building's cafeteria, or you can explore some of the nearby options for dining.
