Alisha joined Cornell Cooperative Extension of Clinton County in November 2024 as a SNAP-Ed Nutrition Educator and now serves as a Family and Community Resilience Educator. In her current role, she works to strengthen individual, family, and community well-being through educational programs focused on nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and other community health priorities.

Alisha has a background in public health, holding both a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Public Health, with a specialization in Epidemiology. She has worked in diverse roles spanning research, program coordination, and public health interventions, and has been published in reputable journals. Before coming to the United States, Alisha worked as a Public Health Officer in Nepal, where she coordinated mass vaccination campaigns during the COVID-19 pandemic and helped implement surveillance and reporting systems for pandemic-related data. She is excited to bring her expertise and passion for public health to her current role, supporting community-driven initiatives, building partnerships, and developing educational programs that address local needs and contribute to improved health outcomes across Clinton County.

In her personal time, Alisha enjoys spending time with friends, traveling, hiking, trying new recipes, and capturing memories through photos and videos.
